Abstract This is the second part of two-part paper on history development neuroradiology at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram. In this part, authors describe evolution interventional procedures their institute from initial techniques free-flow embolization as a palliative procedure for large arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) to more refined selective using microcatheters, calibrated leak balloons liquid polymerizing embolic agents.
